Despite my best efforts to hold onto summer, we are in back to school mode here in the Lasha house. Aubrey starts preschool in two weeks (how did that creep up on me so fast?).
I have a pretty long list of school supplies to buy, for both her classroom and her “homeschool” studies that we do together at home. I have to pick out that perfect first day of school outfit (she has requested to wear a blue dress) and a teacher gift, which I think I’ve narrowed down.
So much to do:) I also want to capture the perfect first day of school photo…so much pressure!!!
Honestly though, back to school does NOT have to be quite so stressful. There are many tips and tricks that can make going back to school painless instead of checking you into the psych ward. I have some awesome sauce back to school hacks to have you jumping for joy all the way to the bus stop this fall!
Check it out…
Pre-plan your weekly wardrobe
I about died over this hanging clothes organizer idea from The Krazy Coupon Lady. Firstly, this is just genius. I have tried in vain to lay out a full weeks wardrobe just to have it end up on the floor or worse…in the dirty clothes to be washed again.
Using a clothes organizer to hang the week’s clothes in the closet?? GENIUS! Secondly, and best of all…you can buy these clothes organizers for less than $10! Inexpensive, time saving awesomeness….yes please!!

This process is so simple…it’s almost like back to school shopping was MADE to be done this way. Depending on your local Target, you can shop for in store pick-up, drive up, or delivery.
I know the idea of not leaving my home to do back to school shopping makes this mama jump for joy!

If you cringe at the thought of wasting a whole Saturday going from store to store, then you HAVE to try Tea Collection!
So here is the skinny on Tea Collection: the clothes are high quality and not available in in as many stores as some of your other brands (so little Curly Sue will not be dressed exactly the same as every kid who went to the mall). The patterns and styles are adorable for babies to teens and the material is soft and durable!!
Help your kids fight back to school germs
Ain’t nobody got time to get sick at the beginning of school, am I right? There is just way, way too much to do and the back to school bugs are miserable.
Help your little one to fight that back to school sickness with the Bug Fighter Essential Oil! You can easily diffuse this AMAZING oil in your home with a diffuser or even in your car with a mobile diffuser. Might as well fight those germs the moment they get in the car, right!!
Keep Homework Simple and Organized
Dreading the never ending stream of homework? Make a homework station like this one from Polkadot Chair. Use dollar store container (hey you can grab those while you are shopping online!!!) to organize the things your little darlings need to do their homework and keep it all in one convenient place.
I have also seen awesome variations of this using utensil holders in file boxes and over the door shoe holders. Whatever items they need to complete their homework, you can organize in one easy to find and use location to help keep homework quick and simple!!!
