My kids LOVE The Incredibles.  My girls regularly fight over who gets to be Violet when they play superheroes.  When my sweet little baby boy was born, almost from day one (partially due to his adorable little tuft of blonde mohawk hair on top of his head) he was lovingly called Jack-Jack. 

So of course when we found out about Incredibles 2…there was no doubt we would see it.

The movie is awesome.  the story line is good. The characters are, of course, the memorable characters we love from The Incredibles.  My kids have watched it at least 1o times since getting out copy of the blu-ray. 

I also love that the blu-ray comes with the digital download so they can watch the movie on their tablets as well.  Winning.

In honor of this adorable movie, I made a quick and easy Incredibles t-shirt that can easily be made for an Incredibles Party or just to allow your little one to play dress up while he enjoys the movie.

Incredibles Costume Tutorial

Making an easy diy incredibles costume is super simple to make.  I made in on a red t-shirt, but for a full costume…it would be super simple to place on either red footed pjs or a shirt/pant set to create a full costume.  

Materials:

Step 1:

Cut an oval out of black felt.  Cut the same oval out of orange felt.

Step 2:

Cut the orange oval in half.  On one half of the orange oval, cut a smaller oval out making one side thicker than the other.  Repeat on the opposite side.

Step 3:

Glue the orange felt on top of the black with the thick side of one half oval touching the thin side of the other.  Trim edges so they are even.

Step 4:

Cut out a yellow rectangle with the top angled slightly and a yellow circle.  Glue onto the oval to make an “i”.  Add a smaller white circle on the yellow circle.

Step 5:

Glue broach pins onto back of oval and pin to desired t-shirt.  (I love, love, love this solid red t-shirt from primary.)
