Are you looking to get struck with Cupid’s arrow this year? I’m all about the arrows this Valentine’s Day… we even have some adorable Arrow themed Valentines you can download for free!
One of my favorite parts about this gorgeous party, is that it shows that you don’t have to slave for hours and hours in your kitchen creating the perfect treats to throw an amazing Valentine’s Day party. Most of these glorious treats can be purchased easily and put together with a little creativity!
Wanna see how?
Simple and delicious, red velvet cupcakes are one of my personal favorite things to eat and also to party with! You can find red velvet cupcakes at most grocery store bakeries. Sometimes, they will even be already decorated with a Valentine flair.
If you don’t see what you want, right away, however…just ask! They can almost always do a custom order and for significantly less than a stand alone bakery!
Once you have your cupcakes, adding a little holiday magic is easy. Some simple Valentine sprinkles will make the top match the decor and be fun for the kids. You can also add some fun cupcake wrappers so the display looks extra cute!
I’ve also found that by serving the cupcakes in extra cupcake wrappers, I have less cupcake crumb mess to clean up, so that’s a bonus!!
This simple heart garland might be my favorite detail from this party! Simply fold red paper, cut our hearts and string on bakers twine! Easy and adorable!!!
The best part of simple treat bags? They can literally hold ANYTHING and always look like they match the party theme and colors. You could be giving your party guests whatever and it still seems themed!
Love little cheats like this!
These chocolate hearts are decorated with paper straws and glittery hearts and arrow ends (made from glittery cardstock) . So cute!!
These candy hearts can be grabbed from amazon or the grocery store! Use fun valentine washi tape to turn an ordinary white plate into a themed plate! Easy and mess free!
The heart cookies were custom made for the party. If you aren’t into baking them yourself, you can find and amazing assortment of heart cookies to purchase!
The glass bottles are simply used with a red paper straw and a glittery cardstock arrow!
Don’t all these details look so cute together? Such a fun party idea!
Simple peppermint sticks with card stock embellishments for the win! That Valentine’s Washi tape came in handy again here. I just love the simplicity of this design.
This fun fabric bunting garland is a great little DIY addition to this party. If you are up for the sewing, you can make this with some pretty fabric from your local fabric store.
If you don’t have the time or inclination to sew, you can also buy fabric garlands. This gorgeous bunting is a favorite of mine!!
Such a fun touch with a simple card and some painted milk bottles!
Last, but certainly not least is this awesome tissue garland. These can be easily made with tissue paper and scissors.
To make a banner, you fringe cut pieces of tissue paper on both sides (leaving about 2-3 inches uncut in the center. You twist the uncut portion and fold over yarn, ribbon or twine. Pretty simple and super cute!
Another option, if you don’t want to make them all, is to buy a ready made tissue garland.
