Let’s talk music. I’m VERY restrictive when it comes to the music we play in the house and what my girls can listen to. For the most part, we listen to disney princess songs, showtunes and Christian music. Why? Well basically because most of what is one the radio I do not wanna hear coming out of my 4 year old’s mouth! The music ban is not 100% though. Occasionally a song makes it way through the sound barrier.
One such song is “Call Me Maybe“. Firstly, its adorable! Secondly, its clean. The message is a little boy crazy, sure…but its not dirty. Thirdly, they LOVE it. With Valentine’s coming up it seems like my girls have been singing this song NON-STOP. I guess its the lovey-dovey spirit of the season:)
