Adorable Bear Baby Shower Ideas for your little baby bear.

Looking for a way to celebrate the birth of a precious little man?  Why not throw a little bear baby shower. This theme is classic and sweet making it perfect for mamas to be who love soft patterns and traditional designs.  

I love the soft colors of this design and how it uses gray and white bears.  This adorable design also works for a first or second birthday party for a little boy.  

 

Actually…the tableware set has options for napkins and other items that have “baby shower”, “1” and “2” on them.  Depending on your party purpose, you can personalize the decorations a bit by using these items.

Bear Baby Shower Decorations

Baby Showers are so fun to plan and style.  There are tons of theme options for a baby shower.  You can go gender neutral and opt for a Mexican style fiesta or a movie night party.  You can go gender specific and throw a sugar and spice baby shower or a boys’ nautical baby shower.  

             

You can even skip focusing on the baby and celebrate mama with a Balloon themed “She’s About to Pop!” baby shower!

 

No matter what theme you choose…finding the right design is key!  I love the idea of picking one pattern and building a party around that design.

For this bear themed party, I designed everything around these ADORABLE Bear plates I found from Birthday in a Box.  

 

If you aren’t familiar with Birthday in a Box, they are a one stop party shop FULL of gorgeous party designs.  These little bear plates were perfect for a little baby boy party.

 

Simple Supplies for an adorable bear party

Using the Bear Party Collection as a starting point, all the party decorations, tableware and food were centered around this fun and sweet bear party design.

 

I used tiny rectangles of blue paper to make a simple banner for the wall behind the table and set up the table with simple white cake plates.  

I also made an easy garland out of yarn.  This was perfect to hang from the front of the table to add a little texture to the dessert table.  I love little details like this.

 

Bear Balloon Tutorial

Another fun decoration I made to match this party, was bear balloons.  These can easily be done in any color, but I really liked the idea of using silver balloons to make gray bears.  

 

They were ridiculously easy.  First I had the balloons filled with helium.  Then I cut ears out of white card stock and drew a black center on the ears.  Then I taped them onto the balloon with scotch tape.

 

Next, using a sharpie, I drew eyes and a nose and a mouth on the balloons.  Then I hung the balloons around the party like cute little floating teddy bears.

Bear Baby Shower Invitations

Baby shower invitations are important way of not only communicating not only information to your guests about the party, but also the feel of the party and the theme.  The bear collection comes with a pop up invitation.

If you prefer a custom printable invitation, I really like this baby bear invitation from Minted Delights.  It’s sweet and fun and fits with  this design so well.

 

Diaper raffle tickets are another fun way to not only bless the mama to be with tons of diapers, but to include the guests in the party from the very beginning.

Bear Party Food Ideas

This party was fun to bake for.  The first dessert I made was some simple royal iced bear cookies to match the party decorations.  I made the bear faces gray with pink cheeks.

Bear Birthday Cake and Cupcakes

I also made a four layer birthday cake with white cake and vanilla buttercream.  I decorated it with a fondant bear cut-out to match the party.

This Fondant Bear Cake Topper from Lady Topper is also one of my favorites.
