Christmas baking is one of my favorite parts of the holidays. I love the smells of cinnamon and peppermint that fill my home while I’m baking sweet treats for Christmas. My daughters have also super gotten into the Christmas baking spirit and love to help in the kitchen and bake yummy treats to share with friends and take to church potlucks. I’m quite proud of how patient and precise they have become with their measuring and stirring. It makes a mommy’s heart sore to share those memorable baking moments.

These all look so good! That said, nothing tastes like Christmas like my grandmother’s famous Tea Ring recipe. She used to make it and send it across the country every Christmas so my family could eat it on Christmas morning. Now she’s nearly 90 and I’ve taken over the family tradition of baking it.
If you’d like to take a peek, here’s my recipe for it (along with photos that will make your mouth water!): http://tenthousandhourmama.com/2017/12/19/best-christmas-breakfast-pastry/
