In honor of Turkeys…I have made some super simple Thanksgiving Turkey Treats.  They are easy to bake.  My 9 year old made all of these desserts herself (with a little mommy oversight) and had a blast creating little Thanksgiving turkeys to share with her friends.  They are perfect for classroom treats or whipping up for Thanksgiving dinner.

I hope you enjoy them all!!

Thanksgiving is hands down one of the most joyful and meaningful seasons of the entire year. It is that magical mix of gratitude, food, family, and togetherness that makes everything feel warm and cozy. As the holiday approaches, kitchens across the country fill with the smell of spices, pies, and all the comforting flavors we wait all year to enjoy. It also happens to be one of the most fun holidays for creating adorable themed food, especially if you love kid friendly Thanksgiving treats. Nothing brings more smiles to little faces than snacks that look like cute turkeys, bright fall leaves, or mini harvest treasures.

Turkey treats have become such a favorite because they fit perfectly into school parties, class events, Friendsgiving celebrations, or even just cozy family nights at home. Parents, teachers, and party planners love them because they are simple, inexpensive, and incredibly photogenic. Kids love them because they are sweet, colorful, and full of personality. Truly, Thanksgiving themed desserts offer the sweetest opportunity to bring creativity into your fall celebrations without needing fancy baking skills.

What makes turkey treats so fun is how adaptable they are. Whether you want something no bake and easy like turkey Rice Krispie pops, something small and bite sized like turkey Rolo chocolates, or something beautifully detailed like decorated turkey cookies, you will find an option that fits your skill level and time frame. They work beautifully for dessert tables, Thanksgiving dinner place settings, or take home goodie bags. They are also a great way to get kids involved in the kitchen, especially with simple assembly style recipes.

Thanksgiving is already full of traditions, but these sweet turkey desserts add an extra bit of whimsy that helps create memories your kids will hold forever. Today we’re diving into some of the cutest, simplest, and most delightful Thanksgiving turkey treat ideas you can make this season. Whether you are hosting a big family meal or planning a classroom party, these adorable desserts will help you bring the fun to your Thanksgiving table.

Thanksgiving Turkey Treats: Turkey Rice Krispies Pops

Turkey Rice Krispies Pops are one of those magical Thanksgiving treats that look like you spent hours on them but actually take just minutes to assemble. These are perfect for busy parents, classroom parties, or last minute dessert tables when you want something that looks festive without needing a complicated recipe. Kids love them because they mimic one of their favorite snacks, but with a fun holiday twist. Adults love them because they can be prepped ahead of time and displayed as adorable edible décor.

The base is simple Rice Krispie treats, cut or molded into shapes, dipped in chocolate, and decorated with candy corn feathers, candy eyes, and a cute little beak. They can be customized in endless ways depending on your color scheme or the supplies you have on hand. Add a lollipop stick and suddenly you have turkey pops that stand upright and photograph beautifully. These treats are always a hit on dessert tables because they are whimsical, bright, and instantly recognizable as Thanksgiving themed goodies. If you want an easy win this holiday season, Turkey Rice Krispie Pops are the perfect choice.

Materials

Step 1:

Melt the chocolate candy melts.  Using a glass bowl in the microwave in 30-second increments is best.  Be sure to stir in between heating and be careful not to overheat.  Dip the Rice Krispies treats in the green candy and lay them out on parchment paper to cool.  After I covered the treats, I used the back of a spoon to put a little texture in the candy…just for some character!!!

Step 2:

While the candy is cooling, place candy eyes on the front and a Reese’s Pieces piece for the beak..  Allow the candy to cool completely.  Split the Oreos in half, dip the halved Oreo in the chocolate and place candy corn in a fan pattern on the Oreo.  Press the back of the Rice Krispies treat into the chocolate on the Oreo and allow to cool.  Easy peasy.

Thanksgiving Turkey Treats: Turkey Rolo Bites

Turkey Rolo Bites may be the smallest treats on the table, but they are always the first to disappear. These adorable bite sized chocolates are perfect for Thanksgiving because they combine sweet and salty flavors in the cutest way possible. A simple Rolo candy becomes the body of the turkey, while pretzels, candy corn, edible eyes, and frosting transform it into a full little character that kids adore.

One of the best things about Turkey Rolo Bites is how foolproof they are. Even beginners can assemble them in just minutes, and they require no baking at all. You can make a huge batch quickly for classrooms, fall festivals, Thanksgiving meals, or holiday dessert boards. They also travel well, which is a huge bonus if you are taking treats to school or dinner at a friend’s house.

Whether displayed on a tray or packaged into tiny favor bags, these mini turkeys bring instant charm to any Thanksgiving celebration. Their cuteness factor is off the charts, and because they are small and delicious, everyone grabs at least two.

Materials

Step 1:

Cut the graham crackers with the circle cookie cutter.  Place a rolo on the grham cracker and microwave for 15 seconds.  While the rolo is warm and melty…press the candy eyes, Reese’s Pieces piece, and Candy Corn into the Rolo to make the turkey face.  Allow to cool.  They are ready to enjoy!!

Thanksgiving Turkey Treats: Turkey Cookies

Turkey Cookies are the quintessential Thanksgiving dessert. They can be simple or detailed, colorful or neutral, homemade or store bought with a quick glow up. Either way, they always bring joy and are guaranteed to be a highlight of your holiday celebration. Turkey cookies can be made using sugar cookies, Oreos, Nutter Butters, or even pre baked bakery rounds. With the help of icing, candy corn, sprinkles, edible eyes, and bright fall colors, you can create turkeys in any style you like.

These cookies photograph beautifully, making them perfect for dessert tables and party displays. You can decorate them with kids as a fun Thanksgiving break activity, or prep them ahead of time for school events or family gatherings. Turkey cookies also make adorable place settings when placed on top of napkins or mini plates at each seat. Their versatility makes them a must include treat for any fall celebration. This section will showcase cookie ideas that range from super simple to wonderfully creative, giving you plenty of inspiration.

Step 1:

Preheat oven to 350º.  Beat white cake mix, cream cheese, egg, vanilla, and softened butter until well mixed, but not smooth. Chill in the fridge for 20 mins.

Step 2:

Step 3:

Remove cookies from the oven.  Press candy eyes, candy corn and Reese’s Pieces Piece into cookies while they are still warm.  Allow cookies to cool.  Turkey cookies are ready to party!

Thanksgiving Partyware

The easiest way to serve all the glorious party treats you make and buy is by using themed party ware. It sounds simple, but truly, nothing pulls a holiday table together faster than coordinated plates, cups, napkins, and serving pieces. When everything matches the theme of your celebration, the whole setup feels intentional, cohesive, and beautifully styled. And the best part is that this doesn’t require a big budget. Themed tableware is one of the most affordable ways to elevate any party.

Thanksgiving is the perfect time to lean into festive tableware. Imagine your turkey treats displayed on adorable fall patterned plates, surrounded by warm autumn colors and little pops of Thanksgiving charm. Themed napkins add personality, while seasonal cups or treat containers make serving easier and so much cuter. With just a few coordinated pieces, your whole table suddenly looks Pinterest ready.

Themed tableware also keeps cleanup simple and stress free. If you are hosting a crowd, disposable plates save time and energy while still giving your party a polished look. And because everything matches, your dessert table looks like it was styled with care even if the treats were simple, last minute creations.

Whether your Thanksgiving style is rustic, modern, whimsical, or traditional, themed party ware helps your vision come to life instantly. It is budget friendly, adorable, and absolutely a must buy if you want your celebration to feel pulled together from start to finish.
