Confession: I basically love fall for two reasons:
1) Really, really yummy food
2) The cooler weather allowing me to wear clothes that better hide the fact that I have been eating really, really yummy food.
But, seriously…isn’t fall food the best. There are soooo many pumpkin recipes floating around the internet. It’s dangerous for a girl like me (i.e. a girl who still has baby weight from 3 not-so-little-anymore-babies and a weakness for carbs).
I really think Pinterest was invented to keep me from getting back into my “skinny” jeans (“skinny” jeans in this context refers to jeans I wore when I was “skinny”…not jeans styled “skinny”…because those “skinny” jeans still come pretty “not-skinny” too!!)
But enough air quotes for one blog post…
Every time I peruse Pinterest, I find some new yummy, super fattening food to try, make or buy!!! I have been poking around looking for ideas for my sweet baby girl’s 2nd birthday party in a couple months and keep getting sidetracked!!
I decided that candy apples would be great for her dessert table and let me tell you…was BLOWN AWAY with the vast variety of super cool and incredibly tasty looking candy apple ideas out there. Since candy apples are very fall-esque, I decided to share some of the best:
