Simple and delicious chocolate chip pumpkin bread for fall!

There is just something magical about fall baking, and pumpkin bread is one of those recipes that instantly brings warmth, comfort, and pure seasonal joy into your kitchen. Add chocolate chips to the mix, and you have a treat that is not only cozy and nostalgic, but also indulgent enough to feel like a special dessert. Chocolate chip pumpkin bread is one of my all time favorite fall recipes because it checks every box. It is soft, moist, flavorful, sweet without being overwhelming, and so easy to make that you can whip up a loaf any day of the week.

As soon as the weather turns crisp and the pumpkin spice cravings start rolling in, this is the first recipe I pull out. It makes your home smell heavenly — like a mix of fresh baked pumpkin, warm cinnamon, and melty chocolate — and it always disappears faster than I expect. It is the perfect treat for breakfast with a warm cup of coffee, for after school snacks, or as a dessert to serve during fall gatherings, pumpkin parties, or cozy family dinners.

What I love most about chocolate chip pumpkin bread is how versatile it is. You can bake it into full loaves, mini loaves for gifting, muffins for lunchboxes, or even turn it into a dessert board centerpiece. It is simple, budget friendly, and incredibly forgiving. Even new bakers can achieve beautiful, delicious results every single time. And because pumpkin keeps the bread naturally moist, this recipe stays fresh for days without drying out, making it an ideal make ahead option for busy fall schedules and holiday hosting.

If you are already planning your Thanksgiving menu or mapping out your fall dessert list, this chocolate chip pumpkin bread absolutely needs a spot. It is the kind of recipe that becomes a tradition. Your family will ask for it year after year, and it is almost guaranteed to become one of your signature fall treats. Cozy, delicious, and full of pumpkin spice goodness, this bread is everything we love about autumn baking wrapped into one perfect loaf.
